YS4856 Acid-base Concentration Sensor
Acid-base concentration electrode is widely used in thermal power, chemical industry, iron and steel pickling and other industries, such as the regeneration of ion exchange resin in power plants, chemical chemical industry process, etc., to continuously detect and control the concentration of chemical acid or alkali in water solution.SpecificationIt can be used as an indicator of water quality, economical and low maintenance.A solution with good water quality and few pollutants has low electrical conductivity.Conductivity is maintained far below pH and minimum calibration for boiler feed water, reverse osmosis and desalination applications.Since the conductivity increases to some extent with the increase in ion concentration during the process, we can use it to correlate with the % concentration value of a solution such as an acid or base.Also, since the conductivity is non-specific, the % concentration can only be measured on one of the chemicals at a time, and not on a mix of chemicals.There are two basic sensor types for measuring conductivity: contact type and inductive type (ring, electrodeless).When using a contact sensor, the conductivity is measured by applying an alternating current to the immersed sensor electrode in a solution (which together affects the electrode constant) and measuring the resulting voltage.The solution acts as an electrical conductor between the electrodes of the sensor.
